Daniela made the decision to follow Christ in baptism. To ours and her grandparents' delight, we were able to witness her profession of faith in front of the church.

Catalin meeting here with Dr. Augustin Batis, the medical director of clinic Dr. Luca, and Ken Heckman, representing the American oversight board for this foundation.

Clinic "Dr. Luca" started by a mission group from the US, currently setting the standard for modern medicine in the city of Pitesti. The mayor of this city gave a very encouraging evaluation of the effect of the clinic on the city. Some mission work is measured by the number of churches planted and some by the effect it has on community development. This clinic is the latter.

The little one cared for by the big sisters.

The parks of Bucharest are a major attraction once the weather warms up. We live close to a major park and enjoy walking there in the evenings or weekends.

Our first trip to 'inside' Romania since moving here. The weather was great and the company even better - travelled with Shannon's parents while visiting from the US, and Catalin's cousins who served as tour guides.

The green rolling hills of middle Romania, some still untouched by time.

Visiting Brasov over the Orthodox Easter break.

Brasov, an old medieval town still retaining some of its original architecture.

Daniela and Lexi at the "House from fairy tales." This little cabin was our home away from home while celebrating the Orthodox Easter.

Wood working found in the king's room of Castle Bran.
